Shelved Projects
Shelved Projects
A monthly gathering for unfinished creative work.
Most creatives carry unfinished projects.
The novel that stalled.
The album that never quite landed.
The idea that once mattered but became difficult to return to.
Shelved Projects is a small in-person gathering where creatives speak honestly about unfinished work and the role it plays in their creative lives.
The idea
Unfinished projects are a common part of creative life.
They often carry more than unfinished tasks. They can hold frustration, perfectionism, disappointment, or simply the distance that grows when an idea loses momentum.
These experiences are rarely spoken about openly.
Shelved Projects exists to create space for those conversations.
Not to fix unfinished work, but to explore what it means.
How it works
Who this is for
This may resonate with you if:
- You have creative work that never quite resolved.
- Unfinished projects still occupy space in your thinking.
- You are curious about the creative process itself.
- You value thoughtful conversation about creative life.
First cohort dates
First cohort invitation
The first cohort will be intentionally small.
This project is an experiment to see whether this kind of conversation resonates with creatives and what shape it may take over time.
If the idea speaks to you, you are invited to share your interest.
